F. K. Otchere


Frank K. Otchere has more than  10 year’s experience in research services and data management. As a Research fellow in policy related monitoring and evaluation studies at Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), Frank does not only manage complex surveys and a data warehouse, he also trains and teaches Statistical computing. Frank’s key role at DataPlas includes providing direction and expertise in social research, programming, statistics, indicator modeling and data-related issues. Frank’s academic credentials include a Bsc. and Mphil degrees in Statistics and an MA in Population Studies from the University of Ghana. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Policy analysis.

J.K Darko

Co – founder

Joseph K. Darko has more than 7 years’ experience in the research industry. Joseph personally oversees all project operations including survey methodology and research design. Joseph’s academic credentials includes a Diploma in statistics from Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), legon, Bachelor of art in Statistics and Economics and Master of philosophy in Statistics from University of Ghana. Outside of DataPlas, Joseph can usually be found facilitating workshop on Stata and CSpro training.

S. K. Mensah

Partner Manager

Sedzro Kojo Mensah since joining the firm, has fifteen years of experience in designing, executing, and interpreting research for agencies and corporations, having started his career with Social, M & E and market research firms. For the last decade, Kojo has developed expertise in providing technical support in survey design, programming, statistics , digital research and data-related issues. Kojo holds HND, BSc. and MSc. Statistics and currently pursuing MSc. public health Monitoring and Evaluation. He has worked on various kinds of marketing research involving Telecommunication projects covering both strategic and tactical marketing issues relating to customer satisfaction, brand health tracking and complex monitoring and evaluation projects. Some of the Clients that he has directly worked for include Tigo, Airtel, MTN, Coca Cola and Heineken, JSI Ghana, Ghana Book Trust etc. Kojo have also worked with ISSER, NMIMR and Population Council, Ghana on complex surveys and monitoring & Evaluation projects.

Dr Henry Tagoe


Dr Henry Tagoe is demographer and social scientist with strong analytical skills in both quantitative and qualitative research methodology and approaches. He has more than 12 years of professional experience in research including designing and implementing research projects, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), data monitoring and data quality assurance. Has worth of professional experience working in the development and implementation of research, M&E, teaching and consulting for both governmental and non-governmental organisations in the areas of population health and development. Also facilitate and train individuals and groups in the use of statistical packages (EipData, SPSS, STATA) and computer assisted qualitative data analysis software (QSR Nvivo).
